Be limitless

Bringing in and maintaining corporate, agency MICE segments within ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy. That is what you take care of! You do this by visiting (potential) accounts and distributing information about our facilities and packages. You also determine pricing details and write necessary cost budgets and offers. Everything to give the customer the best possible image of our HR-Group hotel and to ensure more bookings by customers. This also means that sometimes you are at trade shows and on the road to customers within our market. Sometimes with a gift and sometimes for a good conversation. There are no limits to your abilities.

In addition, you will be:

  • focused on achieving your revenue targets by maintaining and expanding sales contact;

  • busy with the completion of annual contracts;

  • keeping track of your sales activities in the CRM system;

  • responsible for giving tours to customers.

You are responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy. You have a crucial role in further expanding our commercial successes and maintaining the high-quality standards HR-Group stands for. Additionally, you are actively involved in acquiring new corporate and leisure clients. You have a bubbly personality with enthusiasm and drive. You don't just talk about action; you also dare to take the necessary steps. You enjoy working within a team and take ownership, using your persuasive skills to inspire others with your enthusiasm. You're not afraid to move forward, take responsibility, and have a natural talent for networking. Market research and analytical thinking? That's a plus, because we appreciate people who not only see opportunities but also know how to seize them. You must have:

  • minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sales manager;

  • fluent written and spoken knowledge of the English and preferably Dutch language;

  • proven track record in achieving sales goals excellent communication and negotiation skills;

  • networking skills and knowledge of the local market (Rotterdam);

  • good skills regarding stress resistance and you are result oriented;

  • an HBO/WO degree in hotel management or a relevant field.
