We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our vibrant Club of Sales team at the Amsterdam Congress Center and Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West. 

This is your chance to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of Amsterdam’s premier conference hotels. 

About the Senior Account Manager role:
As a part of the wider sales team in the Netherlands, called the Club of Sales, you will collaborate with talented colleagues towards one joint goal. The role reports to the Country Director of Sales and is based at Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West & Amsterdam Congress Center. Your responsibility and focus will be to hunt and drive business to this first-class conference property.  

Key Responsibilities
As Senior Account Manager, you bring an international mindset and a strategic vision. You are results-driven and have an unwavering passion for driving business and elevating the client portfolio. Your role is pivotal in steering our sales efforts to new heights, and your ambition sets the tone for achieving exceptional outcomes.

  • Lead proactive sales efforts to identify, target, and secure high-value business opportunities.

  • Lead all aspects of the hotel’s B2B sales initiatives, with a strong emphasis on the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and convention segment.

  • Achieve sales goals in close collaboration with the Club of Sales in the Netherlands. 

  • Maximize revenue by implementing effective sales strategies aligned with the business plan.

  • Actively drive new business to the hotel, focusing on expanding the client portfolio and cultivating key partnerships.

  • Build and maintain powerful relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders to capitalize on every sales opportunity.

  • Close collaboration and dialogue with the hotel team, Meeting & Events department and other internal operational and commercial stakeholders. 

  • Represent the hotel at key industry events, fairs, and networking opportunities to boost visibility and secure new partnerships. 

Qualities We Seek in Our Senior Account Manager: 
We’re in search of a true sales hunter who is ambitious, driven, and ready to disrupt the market. You’ll bring: 

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an international environment and with a strong background in MICE/convention sales.

  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.

  • A strategic mindset and passion for creating success.

  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

  • Fluent in Dutch as well as English.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach.

  • Driven and ambitious to increase productivity and sales volume with appropriate techniques.

Conveniently located next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station, it offers easy accessibility for both guests and staff.
