Your mission as Senior Reservations and GC&E Executive

As Senior Reservations and GC&E Executive, you are the ambassador of our historical Amsterdam canal palace, committed to organizing tailored events and manage bookings. Among a team passionate for storytelling, you personally accompany our guests from their first contact with our team, throughout the whole journey of personalized planning until after their memorable event or stay. With your in-depth knowledge of our beautiful product, you are the one who convince guests there is no other venue to choose in Amsterdam for their wedding day, private dinner, high end corporate event, or week-end escape. You seamlessly coordinate with all parties involved in the hotel while keeping a close contact with the guests, leaving them with nostalgia about their special time at the Waldorf Astoria and the yearn to return.

What will I be doing? 

As Senior Reservations and GC&E Executive, you will drive event sales of the most beautiful hotel in Amsterdam. Specifically, a Reservations and GC&E Executive will be empowered to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

·        Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue

·        Proactively identifies new opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team

·        Manage an events schedule to maximize yield

·        Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach

·        Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs

·        Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds

·        Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events

·        Ensure continued high quality of internal communication to operational departments

·        Participate in hotel promotional activities

·        Being present for the events and groups as an organizer or service support as required (also beyond office hours)

·        Be able and willing to assist other GC&E team members to provide cover during holidays, public holidays or other period as required
