Sommelier - Rotterdam

Are you passionate about wine, cocktails, and delivering exceptional guest experiences? Our vibrant restaurant, located within our stylish hotel, is looking for a dynamic Sommelier to join our team! This is not your average sommelier role — it’s an exciting blend of wine expertise, upselling, and collaborating with our Head Bartender.

What You’ll Do:

• Curate and manage our exceptional wine list, ensuring every bottle enhances our guests' dining experience.

• Engage with guests to provide personalized wine recommendations, creating unforgettable moments.

• Assist our Head Bartender with cocktail preparations, expanding your mixology skills alongside wine service.

• Maximize sales through upselling, using your knowledge of both wines and cocktails to elevate our offerings.

• Report directly to the Restaurant Manager and the F&B Manager, ensuring smooth operations and high standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of WSET Level 2 certification or equivalent wine knowledge.

• A passion for both wine and cocktails, with a flair for guest interaction and service.

• Flexibility in working hours, with shifts mainly from 15:00 until closing, including weekends and holidays.

• A team player with a proactive attitude, ready to elevate the overall guest experience.
