What will be your role?

As our new Spa Therapist, your role will include performing various massages, facials, manicure, and pedicure treatments to the highest standards. Through your proactive and gentle approach, you will ensure that each guest interaction is personalised and leaves a pleasant, long-lasting experience. At Akasha, we offer a wide range of luxurious treatments, and you will be trained to perform all available options. You will be supervised and coached by our Head Therapist, while benefiting from a supportive environment, professional development opportunities, and access to state-of-the-art facilities.

• A salary starting between €2.493 – €2.699 (full time) and departmental bonus;

Located in a 1000m² area in the heart of our hotel, Akasha features seven treatment rooms, a pool, a Watsu tub, and a private Hammam. This serene and uplifting environment is ideal for our guests to relax and recharge.

Our dedicated team at Akasha consists of Spa Therapists, Attendants, Trainers, and Receptionists, all working together to provide exceptional service. Treatments are offered between 08:00 and 21:00, so please ensure you are available to start as early as 08:00 and leave as late as 22:00.

Who are we looking for?

A Spa Therapist who enjoys offering guests an unforgettable spa experience in a luxurious environment with high-end products and personalised service. You are empathetic and able to advise guests regarding their treatment-related questions. Additionally, you have:

• Around 3 years of experience performing Thai massages, Swedish massages, deep tissue massages, and hot-stone massages;
•  A massage therapist and/or beautician diploma;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (Dutch is a plus);
• Residence in the Amsterdam area.
