The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has the position of Stewarding Supervisor available.

What are my responsibilities?

You are responsible for directing and assisting the stewarding department, making sure the clean-up process is as efficient as possible and controlling the stock. It is vital to keep a positive work relationship with the team and support them to reach the department's goals. You work with and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. In this role, you report directly to the Executive Chef. Furthermore, you assist the Executive Chef with training, evaluations, counselling sessions, discipline, and motivating the stewards.

To be eligible for this position you…

• have a degree in Facility Management and/or experience in Hospitality / Facility management / Beverage & Food

• can communicate fluently in Dutch and English

• have knowledge of HACCP and have strong communication skills

A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
