DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station offers great views, exceptional service and vibrant food & beverage outlets and is currently looking for a new Storekeeper to join the Storekeeping team!
Our hotel offers an award-winning rooftop bar & terrace, a Lobby Bar, a restaurant, our very own LOT61 Coffee Store, Amsterdam’s most extensive breakfast buffet, fifteen versatile meeting rooms, and 557 guest rooms.
Exciting news! Our hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovations. The pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, the Lobby Bar with our in-house library, and the Front Office are currently being renovated. These renovations are part of a larger project, with all Food & Beverage outlets being repositioned and rebranded in 2024. LuminAir, our Rooftop Bar, has already undergone an impressive rebranding and reopened in June 2023. Stay tuned for further developments, including the redesign of our entire ground floor.
As a Storekeeper at the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station, you will be responsible for participating in purchasing activities, managing merchandise, entrance and environment and contact person for our suppliers.
Included but not limited to the following: receiving and issuing deliveries, maintaining inventory records, making purchase orders on a daily basis and planning and participating in monthly stock counts.
The close-knit team will ensure you are quickly absorbed into the group and will support you as needed. Working hours are flexible as operations in the hotel are constantly ongoing. Advancement opportunities within the hotel are plentiful and we offer various training courses. New ideas or challenges can always be discussed with the manager of your team!

Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate has previous experience as a Storekeeper in restaurants, hotels or a similar work environment and values hospitality.
To successfully fulfil this role, it is important that you have the following skills:
- Your eye for detail oversees everything and you will ensure that all tasks will always be performed to the correct standards.
- You are creative in coming up with solutions and can quickly switch between various parties.
- Excellent communication skills, also in English
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Familiar with HACCP
- A social character
Furthermore, you have good organization, communication and PC skills. You make contact easily, communicate with our suppliers and maintain internal and external relations at all levels.
In short, you are enthusiastic, hands-on, a spider in the web and a real addition to our team!
