Amsterdam's former Shipping House is now home to one of Amsterdam's most iconic 5* hotels, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. Where once the passenger tickets to the East and West were sold, a warehouse employee / Storekeeper is now being sought who, together with the current crew, will ensure that the right course is set and the ultimate service is provided as befits this house.

Are you a service-oriented professional with excellent communication skills? Do you have a passion for orderly work and hygiene? Starting at 07:00 in the morning is not a problem for you, as you will be finished around 12:00 which gives you space to do other things in the afternoon.

Tasks and responsibilities

As Warehouse Assistant you are the director behind the scenes of our hospitality! Amidst the delusion of everyday life, you are the person who takes all orders and cleans up immediately so no one misses out. You know how to keep warehouses, coolers and freezers tidy and clean so that picking up an order becomes a party. But that's not all! You are also a master in passing on items that are about to run out and every month you count your share of the stock. You know when which delivery is coming so you can also monitor waste management. Making a purchase order has no secrets for you because you know how the Windows office package works.

Our requirements

You have a completed MBO education and you speak Dutch and English (more languages are always welcome). Because you sometimes have to place orders, deliver documents and make purchase orders, the Office package holds no secrets for you. Knowledge of HACCP is an advantage. You have an eye for detail and can work orderly and efficiently.

On the basis of a 25-hour contract, you will earn € 1479.31 in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for the Hotel and Catering Industry. Our employees will also receive 8% vacation allowance over this amount. Our work schedule is always known 3 weeks in advance. Our employees are of great value to us and we want you to stay.
