In the former Scheepvaartshuis of Amsterdam, now stands one of the most iconic 5-star hotels in Amsterdam, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. Where passage tickets to the East and West were once sold, we are now looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who, together with the current crew, will ensure the ultimate service is provided.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you and your team will ensure that guests are welcomed into a clean, well-maintained room. If you are energized by bringing out the best in your team through personal attention and have an eye for detail to provide our guests with the highest level of service, you might be the new talent we are looking for.
What does your day as a Housekeeping Supervisor look like?
- As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for leading your team to create the best guest experience together. You start your day by assigning rooms to the team. You also schedule any additional tasks. By inspecting your team's work, you ensure that the rooms are always in optimal condition and meet the standards of Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. Throughout the day, you communicate with the Front Office and Technical Service regarding the condition of the rooms. At the end of the shift, you check that the cleaning supplies and trolleys are tidy for the next day.
What do we expect from you:
- You have high standards for hygiene and service
- You have experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor (preferably in the high-end segment)
- You have a positive attitude
- You are a team player
- You have an eye for detail and a guest-oriented approach
- You are independent, accurate, and hands-on
- Candidate must be in possession of a valid residence and work permit for the Netherlands
