OVER THE DEN ‘S-HERTOGENBOSCH
In March 2022, The Den, 's-Hertogenbosch, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, opened its doors as part of the Odyssey Hotel Group and franchise of Marriott International. With 160 hotel rooms, Meetingcentre The Den with 5 meeting rooms, Restaurant The Den on the ground floor and Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar on the 9th floor, the hotel offers an extensive range of facilities.
Current Rooftop is a true landmark in the skyline of 's-Hertogenbosch and cannot be missed! With one location and three settings, it offers a lively cocktail bar with the best signature cocktails, a stylish restaurant with a contemporary approach to (French) classics and a fantastic rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the entire city.
THE POSITION
We’re searching for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage (F&B) Intern at the Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar in Hotel The Den 's-Hertogenbosch to join our team and be part of our exciting venture. It’s time to put all your studying, tests, and projects into play. You’ll be offered the unique opportunity to work side by side our F&B Team, learn their roles and help with running the department.
During the internship, you’ll be jointly responsible for all the F&B facets in our hotel. For example, you start your day with preparing and serving breakfast. If you work in the evening, you work at the bar or prepare and serve dinner in our restaurant. In addition to your daily F&B tasks, there’s plenty of room for your own input and projects. We’re always curious to see how you get the best learning experience during your internship.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in the bar, restaurant, of breakfast room for table service: taking table reservations, taking orders, table service, and checking out with our guests.
- Prepare the board- and meeting rooms for lunch and/or dinner.
- Assisting in preparing the restaurant for service by the required hotel standards.
- Enhancing product knowledge.
- Promote hospitality within our hotel standards.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Currently enrolled in an MBO/HBO degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a degree in another relevant field of study.
- Affinity with hotels and hospitality.
- Fluent in English, and preferably in Dutch.
- EU/EEA national or enrolled in a Dutch institution as we cannot provide visas, permits, or sponsorships.
