For our beautiful hotel in Maastricht, we are looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie/ZWK! In this role, you will be cooking for an internationally oriented restaurant one day, and the next day preparing the most delicious dishes for large parties and events. This variety is what makes your work so dynamic!
What will you do?
As a Chef de Partie, you will prepare dishes according to recipes with a focus on quality and presentation. Your task is to provide our guests with a fantastic culinary experience by presenting the most delicious dishes. You will be responsible for placing orders, portioning, garnishing, preparing, and cleaning. Thanks to your skill with kitchen equipment, dishwashing equipment, and knives, this will be done effortlessly and safely. You will contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen and ensure a tidy and clean work environment. The HACCP guidelines are second nature to you; you will closely monitor and consistently apply them in your work. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the menu and help refine dishes and recipes, with Amrâth giving you the freedom to express your creativity!
Where will you do this?
Since 1902, this "Grande Dame" has been a landmark in Maastricht. A national monument in Jugendstil located in the heart of Maastricht, opposite the Central Station! The hotel features 149 luxury rooms and suites, an indoor swimming pool, restaurant, cozy bar, a wide range of meeting rooms, and an underground parking garage. We also serve delicious and stunning culinary creations in our Grand Restaurant.

Your belonings
You have at least a completed level 3 culinary education
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
You are personable and have a hospitable attitude. It's in your DNA to go the extra mile for the guest.
You are flexible; working a weekend shift or on a holiday doesn’t faze you!
You have a good knowledge of the Dutch and/or English language. Do you speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!

A salary in accordance with the Horeca collective labor agreement (or reference position).
A 6-month or 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. We want you to stay with us!
