Selva, a new Latin American restaurant on the 24th floor of the iconic design hotel nhow Amsterdam RAI, opens its doors in the summer of 2023. Selva, a translation of 'the Amazon', pays homage to the rainforest - the lungs of our earth.
Inspired by nature and natural elements, the interior of the restaurant is inspired by the colors, textures and patterns of the Amazon rainforest. Selva is characterized by organic shapes that 'flow' through the restaurant, reflecting the rivers of the Amazon region. With an abundance of plants and earthy tones, a lush and vibrant atmosphere is created where guests can enjoy the culinary experience Selva has to offer.
Exotic flavors from Latin America, Selva's menu is a journey of discovery through the diverse and flavorful cuisines of Latin America, with dishes inspired by flavors of Mexico, Peru and Brazil, among others. Guests can expect a range of different dishes from ceviche to grilled meats and seafood. The visible charcoal grill enriches the flavors of the dishes and makes for a memorable dining experience.
Sonora is a cocktail bar that opens next to Selva, in the same room and on the top floor of the hotel. Sonora offers a wide selection of cocktails, with ingredients inspired by the flavors of the Amazon rainforest. With its prime location on the 24th floor of nhow Amsterdam RAI, Selva and Sonora offer breathtaking views of the city, making it an ideal destination for both locals and tourists. Selva covers 700 square meters, with a total of 137 place settings for the restaurant and 45 seats in the cocktail bar.
