Position: Floor Team Member

Customer Service:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers in choosing seating options and provide menu information.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Seating and Table Management:

• Manage the seating chart and allocate tables efficiently.
• Coordinate with the host/hostess to optimize table turnover.
• Ensure proper spacing and arrangement of tables to comply with restaurant standards.

Communication:

• Maintain effective communication with the host/hostess, kitchen staff, and servers.
• Relay information about table status, reservations, and special requests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Assistance to Servers:

• Support servers in delivering food and beverages to tables.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables promptly.
• Communicate with servers to coordinate service timing.

Cleanliness and Organization:

• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area.
• Clear debris and maintain a tidy appearance of floors and furniture.
• Assist in restocking and organizing supplies as needed.

Customer Assistance:

• Assist customers with special requests, such as highchairs or special seating arrangements.
• Provide additional utensils, napkins, or condiments upon request.
• Be attentive to customer needs and offer assistance proactively.

Teamwork:

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff, servers, and other floor team members.
• Support a positive and cooperative team environment.
• Assist colleagues during peak times or when needed.

Health and Safety:

• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Report any safety concerns or issues to the management promptly.
• Follow proper hygiene practices and use personal protective equipment as required.

Training and Development:

• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items and service standards.
• Stay informed about restaurant promotions, events, and policies.
• Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles.
