FRONT OFFICE AGENT/ MOTTO HOST – semi fulltime/ fulltime
We are all about flexibility and therefore our focus is to create a team that works well together and we do offer different contracts for this open function; 32 hours or 38hours

Requirements
• Previous work experience from working in a hotel (internship/ Hotel school)
• Have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Previous experience working with OnQ PMS (bonus) or another PMS system.
• If you are a local or know the hidden gems in Rotterdam, that would be a bonus!
• Passionate about people and teamwork.
• Willing to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
What will you be doing?
You might not have worked behind a hotel reception desk. So let us explain what drives us at MOTTO and what your actual day to day tasks would be;
• Be always your authentic self. More friendly & less formal.
• ‘Read the room’, know what a guest need andhelp them out.
• Explore the city and share what you have experienced!
• Be a real team player also for other departments
• Reception has different shifts (morning shift/ day shift/ evening shift, 7 days a week)
• Perform the perfect check-in and check-out and create payments
• Answer incoming calls and e-mails from the guests.
• Check all the reservations booked for the arrival date and make sure everything is settled before arrival of the guest.
• Make every guest feel welcomed by taking an extra step. Think about celebrating a guest birthday, celebrate their 5th stay at our property or appreciate the loyalty of our Hilton Honors members.
• Keep good contact with housekeeping and technical service in regards of the room status.
• Perform the administrative tasks for the reception such as payments and guest relations.
• Upsell items and increase revenue
• Monitoring and being alert to hotel entrances and security
