As a Marketing Intern you focus on hotels and restaurants in the Benelux and you work in a dynamic environment; no day is the same! During your internship you will learn all the ins & outs of the Marketing department, in the broadest sense of the word. One day you help devise promotions and events that perfectly match the strategy of our hotels and F&B concepts (e.g. Floor17, LEO'S International Flavors and Chef's! Food & Drinks), the next day you support the creation of the most fantastic designs for our hotels. Every Leonardo Hotels product is different, allowing you to use your enthusiasm and creativity without limits.
You also manage the websites of the hotels and restaurants. Are we working on new branding? You help with the marketing campaign! You also ensure that the next newsletter is ready to be sent out. Did your ideas generate more website visitors this week? One thing is certain, your creations will remain visible in our hotels in the future!
As a Marketing Intern you work for our chain consisting of 16 hotels in the Netherlands and Belgium. We do not have a head office, but the Marketing department can mainly be found in the Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark, but just like us, you are flexible and willing to work in one of our other hotels every now and then.

For the ambitious hotelier of the future is the Tailor Made Traineeship (TMT) at Leonardo Hotels the place to be! Do you see your internship as the start of a career within the hospitality? At Leonardo Hotels your internship matches your interests, wishes and talents. As an intern, regardless of the department or hotel, you are automatically registered for the TMT program (www.careersatleonardohotels.com/tmt). You can take a look at different hotels and departments; attending expert sessions in topics such as Marketing and Finance; be motivated and coached by your personal coach; develop your personal leadership skills and (perhaps most importantly) get to know all the other HBO interns through our organized TMT classes and social gatherings!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU (ADDITIONAL TO A GREAT TEAM)?
- As a HBO student you will receive an internship fee based on €750,- gross per month fulltime, which consists of a €650,- internship fee and an €80,- expense fee. We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks at a time, according to the number of days and hours worked. So one month you will get a little less and the next month a little more.
