Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West,a vibrant and colourful hotel and and Amsterdam Congress Center, featuring 476 rooms and 20 meeting rooms conveniently located next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station and easily reachable for both guests and team members by car and public transport. The hotel is designed by the renowned designer Karim Rashid. The hotel is part of the VEN complex, meaning it shares the building with Holland Casino, LimeHome apartments, World of Karaoke and Restaurant Azura. Essential ingredients:
Currently enrolled in a hotel/hospitality management program or a related HBO-level course.
Available for a minimum 10-month internship.
Excellent communication skills: especially in English, and a great addition if you also speak an extra language!
A passion for event planning and for working with people.
A positive, energetic attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
You will learn to:
Prepare proposals and contracts for social events, based upon the client’s wishes
Prepare and coordinate site inspections for potential clients, showcasing our meeting and event spaces.
Support our Sales Team to turn inquiries into booked events.
Be the main point of contact for clients organizing the event, ensuring every detail of their event runs smoothly.
Ensure that necessary information is distributed to all hotel departments in order to secure smooth running of Banquet functions;
Upsell opportunities to enhance clients’ event experiences.
Handle potential complaints concerning problems related to meetings and or an event;
Manage administrative tasks such as invoicing and post-event follow-ups.
