Porter / Concierge - Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American

Dalata Hotel Group are seeking a Porter / Concierge for an exciting opportunity within Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American. 

Set in the vibrant, capital city of the Netherlands, Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American, now part of Dalata Hotel Group is a 4-star, 173-bedroom hotel with an extensive food and beverage offering including a Café and Bar. It is located on the Leidseplein, in one of the most famous art nouveau buildings in Amsterdam

Objective of the Role

To work with the reception team throughout the shift towards the goal of providing an excellent guest service experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting with guest requests in relation to luggage / porterage
• Responsibility for the entrance and outside area of the hotel and ensure that it is clean and tidy at all times.
• Assisting guests with requests for concierge services; booking restaurants, taxi’s, museum tickets, tourist information etc.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in work in hospitality or customer service;
• The ability to work as a team and to take initiatives if needed;
• A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff members and guests;
• Able to work evening shifts (15.00-23.00);
• Extensive knowledge of Amsterdam.
