Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Account Management
· Actively solicits new business for the hotel (European market - corporate, mice, entertainment, Global - government)
· Provides market intelligence and feedback to Director of Sales as result of face to face calls and telephone solicitation.
· Implements pro-active Sales action plans related te the area as outlined in the business plan.
· Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key clients from specific segments to drive business and increase fare market share
· Hosts familiarizations stays, conduct site inspections and gives sales presentations to showcase the hotel’s services and products.
Travel
· Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to increase the hotel’s visibility and attract new business.
Reporting
· Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, guest feedback and the sales performance to identify opportunities for business growth.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree / higher education in hospitality or a related field
· Experience in luxury hospitality/ hotel sales preferred
· Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Be a social butterfly and natural networker - actively engage with the local community, partners, colleagues and clients.
· Strong presentation skills.
